I am a beginner in salsa dancing and I have several instructional DVDs on how to learn to dance salsa. Without a doubt this is one of the best salsa for beginners DVD that I have seen so far. Silvia and Beto are excellent dancers and its great to watch then dancing together and having fun.
The Patterns section has six patterns that are based on the techniques demonstrated in the Footwork and Partnering sections. They are arranges from the easiest to the most difficult. The patterns are first demonstrated with Silvia counting the rhythm and printed text indicates what technique is being used. Each pattern is broke down and then danced to the music.
The quality of the video and sound production is superb. The background and the lighting are chosen so that the moves of the dancers are clearly visible.
I wholeheartedly recommend this DVD to all my fellow beginners salsa dancers.

I discovered your website, i really like your style and the way you teach is just wonderful. you are really good in breaking things to simple steps. really i hope you are here in Holland, i would have definitely come to learn salsa with you, it is also interesting though you are a female, but still you can give good suggestion for a man figure.
the thing i like also most in your videos is that: you are most of the time dance with beginners or people who does not know the figure very well. so in the mean while you can have a good understanding of the error and mistakes of some one who does not know the figure yet, and that makes it easy for us to learn, and more realistic. because if some one already knows it then it goes fast and there are some mistak we can not find out easily with videos.
Some other teachers present the figure with a proffisional and then the lesson is kind of showing off more than being for the teaching purpose. i always find your videos are easy to all to learn even with complicated figures, really your advice are just what anybody need .. a pity again i am in holand!! WOW! We covered four moves in one class! Intense, but not overwhelming. I think we had enough time to practice and go over each move before including everything we learned into a final combo. Great class!

I have been taking salsa classes for a couple of months and, having gone to an intermediate level, I’ve found it more difficult to remember and execute moves. Now I’ve found your videos and your instruction has helped me to remember moves more easily and execute them in time to the music. Already I feel more confident about my dancing! I found your salsa tip of the week videos on youtube and think they are, without doubt, the best online salsa tutorials I’ve seen. My husband and I live in Miami and have taken some local classes, but I think I’ve learned more just from your “tips”! Wish we lived in Chicago

I use to view addicted2salsa.com videos on Youtube to try to learn as much as possible (I am going to salsaclasses here in stockholm-sweden).
They are great. I also found the “Let’s Dance Salsa Lessons”. They are also great (more funny).
But yours are the best nicest somehowe. U have a winning style with the different partners, male and feemale and I feel U love what U do.
Well I just wanted U to know.
If I ever go to Chicago, I will cirtanly remember to drop by.
