Hello Future And Current Salseros and Salseras!

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

I am happy to welcome you to the Salsa With Silvia blog and I hope to meet you soon (virtually or in person).

I believe that dancing makes people happy and salsa dancing happens to be one kind of dance that is becoming more and more popular. Dancing salsa is like speaking a common language with people that you’ve never met before that may be from a different country and culture.

My joy is to teach salsa dancing and to see people learn and progress.

My goal is to interact with people who are learning, want to learn or are dancing already, as much as I can.

That’s why this week (March 2nd, 09) I am starting the Salsa With Silvia “Trick Of The Week”.

The “Trick Of The Week” videos are designed to give you a new step, partnering technique and or a styling tip every week. As you watch these videos in order, you will learn something new with each video. Eventually we will start doing more and more complicated turn patters, so stick around and enjoy!

I also just recently produced a Beginner Level On 1 Salsa Instructional DVD, which I believe has enough material to really get you going so you can impress your friends and meet new friends.
