Silvia Completes Her Last Series Of Salsa Classes In Chicago

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

On October 5th, 2009 Silvia completed her last closed session series of beginner and intermediate classes that she taught at the Dance Academy Of Salsa in Chicago.

Silvia will continue teaching the SUNDAY DROP-IN SALSA WORKSHOPS until November 1st!

This has been a great experience for Silvia as a dance instructor. Throughout the past couple of years in Chicago, Silvia has met a lot of great people through teaching and salsa dancing.
Not only that but during this time, Silvia was able to form her very own and first performance group by the name of Amika Dance Company. The group performed at Chicago clubs such as Nacional 27 and Rumba.

Silvia was also able to start her own salsa clothing design line and produce an instructional salsa DVD.

Silvia will be moving to Washington DC on November 1st and she will continue teaching there. More information coming soon.

However, Silvia’s online salsa tutorials will continue to come to you via her You Tube channel at www.youtube.com/salsawithsilvia.

Silvia continues to get numerous positive feedback on her online videos. A most recent testimonial reads: “I found your salsa tip of the week videos on youtube and think they are, without doubt, the best online salsa tutorials I’ve seen. My husband and I live in Miami and have taken some local classes, but I think I’ve learned more just from your “tips”! Wish we lived in Chicago :)

Dancers of all levels are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these free online tutorials.
