SALSA WITH SILVIA QUICK UPDATE – TLC TV SHOW is casting, classes & more!

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

Dear salsa enthusiasts,

Really quick, here are some exciting things this fall:

1.  NEW SALSA WITH SILVIA 6-WEEK BEGINNER CRASH COURSE begins September 30th 8: 30 pm at a brand new dance studio in DC. You will love that place! Enroll now!

New class info: http://www.salsawithsilvia.com/2010/09/14/bti_dance_beginner_salsa_dc/
Note: all current classes remain at the DC Dance Collective studio.

2.  TLC’s TV SHOW “WHAT NOT TO WEAR” CONTACTED SALSA WITH SILVIA Here is what they sent. Shoot me an email if you have someone you want to nominate someone:
My name is Michael Raptis and I am the Casting Director for What Not to Wear on TLC. Casting is currently underway in DC for Season 8. We would love to feature a Female Dance Instructor or Student who stands out from the crowd and not in a good way! The idea of the show is to help a woman who is being held back by her style. Maybe she lost a lot of weight and no longer knows how to dress, maybe she is dressing too sexy and attracting the wrong men, maybe the way she dresses is keeping her from getting a promotion at work…We would love to help! I was hoping you might know the perfect person.

3.  AUDITIONS WERE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2010 and we have 4 very talented ladies but they need partners. Contact me if you are interested in joining. We are planning to start practice mid October.
